You can make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer. Here, you'll find opportunities to engage in advocacy efforts that support funding for cancer research and prevention programs and access to care.
The following policy priorities drive the Prevent Cancer Foundation’s advocacy. We accomplish our work through collaborating with the U.S. Congress and Executive Branch (including federal agencies) as well as peer organizations, state legislatures, and relevant stakeholders, including our grassroots advocates.
As part of this collaboration, the Foundation signs on to joint letters of support or opposition of key issues. These “sign-on letters” are a powerful tool in our advocacy efforts, serving as collective statements of where the cancer and public health advocacy organizations stand on various issues. By including signatures from a diverse array of individuals, organizations and stakeholders, these letters amplify our voice and demonstrate broad-based consensus.
