Cassie Smith

Cassie Smith is the Senior Manager of the Congressional Families Program and Education Campaigns for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. She manages the Program’s activities, including two annual Capitol Hill events, community grantee site visits and communications materials to equip members of Congress and their spouses to bring the message of cancer prevention and early detection to communities across the U.S. She also works closely on the Foundation’s educational campaign initiatives and leads the Foundation’s Wellness Committee. When she was a teenager, Cassie lost her mom to breast cancer, so she is passionate about the Foundation’s mission. She lives in Vienna, Va., with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
