Alexandria, Va. – The Prevent Cancer Foundation® has announced the election of Diane Casey-Landry as chairwoman of its board of directors. ジョナサン・ネヴェット, a member of the board since January 2024, will transition to an officer role as vice chair of governance.

The Prevent Cancer Foundation is proud to welcome these two accomplished individuals into their new roles.

Diane Casey-Landry has served on the board since January 2019 and served as vice chairwoman of governance from 2023 through 2025. Ms. Casey-Landry has also chaired the audit committee since 2020. She is the founder and managing director of DCL Banking Advisors, LLC. Prior to her time at DCL Banking Advisors, LLC, Ms. Casey-Landry was the senior executive vice president and chief operating officer at the American Bankers Association after serving as the President and of America’s Community Bankers. Ms. Casey-Landry also previously served as a resident fellow at the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School, where she led a study forum on the Politics of Financial Crises.

Ms. Casey-Landry also serves as a trustee for the National Museum of Women in the Arts where she serves as chairman of the Investment Committee.

Like many others, Ms. Casey-Landry’s own experience with cancer fuels her passion and belief in the Foundation’s mission. She is committed to the Foundation’s message of early detection for better health outcomes and is working to help the board and the organization reach as many people as possible.

ジョナサン・ネヴェット has served on the board since January 2024 and served on the governance and gala committees. He is the president and CEO of Public Interest Registry (PIR) and a veteran of the domain name industry, co-founding Donuts Inc. in 2010 and raising more than $150 million to form a registry of over 240 internet domain extensions. Prior to this work, he served as senior vice president at Network Solutions, where he was responsible for policy, government affairs, registry relations and the corporate ethics office.

Mr. Nevett has served on numerous boards, including as chair of the board of NameJet and Central Registry Solutions, two joint ventures in the domain name industry, and as vice chair of the board of the Green Acres School. During the Obama Administration, Mr. Nevett was appointed to the Online Safety and Technology Working Group to protect children on the internet.

Mr. Nevett is a cancer survivor and a firm believer in talking about our cancer journeys in order to help others. He credits early detection and prompt treatment with his ability to say he is now cancer-free and is passionate about supporting the Foundation’s prevention and early detection efforts to help others say the same.

“We are thrilled to have Diane as our new board chairwoman and Jon as a new officer of our board of directors,” said Jody Hoyos, Prevent Cancer Foundation CEO. “We thank Bill Magner for his leadership as board chairman for the past four years, and we look forward to the ideas and inspiration Diane and Jon will bring as we continue working toward a world where cancer is preventable, detectable and beatable for all.”
