Expanding Clinical Trial Participation: Addressing Barriers Along the Pathway from Screening to Trials
Expanding clinical trial access is more than a policy challenge — it’s an urgent opportunity to advance equitable health care. Blood-based cancer screening technologies hold the potential to revolutionize early detection and improve outcomes, but they also serve a critical role in increasing patient participation in clinical trials.
This workshop focused on policy levers, including the Clinical Trial Modernization Act, to increase access in clinical trials. By generating more robust, real-world evidence, these advancements can transform how we detect cancer early, improve trial recruitment, and ultimately save lives.
Now is the time to modernize our approach and invest in policies that make a difference.
