Jennifer Niyangoda
Jennifer Niyangoda is the Vice President of Marketing and Development of the Prevent Cancer Foundation, the only U.S.-based nonprofit organization solely dedicated to cancer prevention and early detection.
Jennifer has dedicated her career to connecting individuals and institutions to meaningful advancement of important social issues from health to equity in education. She has over 20 years of experience in fundraising and marketing including leading corporate and foundation partnerships for the American Red Cross national headquarters and driving brand strategy on the corporate side at AOL.
Jennifer is a strategic thinker and results-driven leader with many successes building teams and developing integrated fundraising strategies to strengthen brand relevance and increase funding.
Jennifer earned a bachelor’s in journalism from The George Washington University and a master’s in business administration from Virginia Tech. She lives in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C. with her husband and two children.
