Louisa Obenwa is the Program Coordinator for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Her role involves providing administrative management and support for projects and programs within the Research, Outreach and Education (REO) division at the Foundation. She’s involved in data collection, reporting and evaluation across REO’s community and research grant programs, along with increasing awareness of grantee work internally and externally. Louisa’s background is focused on public health and health communication. She’s passionate about community wellbeing and ensuring people are able to achieve optimal levels of health through education—a passion that drew her to the nonprofit sector. She is an Alexandria, Va. native and enjoys cooking, thrifting, hiking, and tuning into nature and history documentaries.
