卡伦·彭卡

Karen Penkar is the Senior Manager of Financial Analysis and Operations for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Karen spends her days gleefully playing with spreadsheets as she manages the Foundation’s accounting reconciliations, budget processes, financial reporting and annual audit. She also helps to improve the Foundation’s workflows and optimize the transparency, use and presentation of data.

After graduating from the University of Chicago, Karen traveled to India to edit academic research. After returning to the U.S., she worked as a mortgage operations analyst for CitiGroup, Inc. and completed her master’s degree in finance from Georgetown University.  Karen volunteered as a consultant and board member for several nonprofit organizations before joining the Foundation in 2021.
