This funding is critical to the future of cancer prevention as it fosters the next generation of cancer prevention research, creates a strong foundation of preliminary evidence to make scientific advances and provides the necessary support for research to move toward independent research careers.

Between 2014 and 2023, $8.1 million in research funding was issued to support 83 grants and fellowships. 59 institutions were represented in this funding. The return from this investment was:
