What is the Prevent Cancer Community Exchange?

The Community Exchange is a network of organizations working at the community level to advance cancer prevention, early detection and vaccination access in areas of high need across the United States. Members receive exclusive access to an online platform to connect with one another and share resources, as well as invitations to members-only trainings and events.

With the Community Exchange, our goal is to:

Bridge information and resource gaps, ensuring all communities have access to reliable information and resources.
Inspire action by providing tools, trainings and support to help local programs reach their communities
Foster collaboration by connecting peer organizations to strengthen cancer prevention and early detection efforts.

The Community Exchange developed out of direct feedback from previously funded Community Grantees looking for ways to connect and share resources with other organizations. Learn more about our Community Grants program.

A resource library: A growing collection of evidence-based materials, templates and toolkits—and the ability to upload your own resources to share with others.
Webinars and events: Frequent opportunities to learn and connect with experts and colleagues in your field.
Discussion forums: Your own space online to ask questions, share insights and collaborate with others.

Who can join?

The Prevent Cancer Community Exchange is open to anyone affiliated with a community-based or public health organization, academic institution, health care system, or related field. Members include, but are not limited to, nonprofit program managers, community health workers, patient navigators, patient advocates, researchers and nurses. To maintain the integrity and focus of our mission, we do not permit participation from for-profit companies or commercial entities.
