For the first time in 8 years, Republicans will be in control of both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. Senator Mitch McConnell (Kentucky) will be the Senate Majority Leader (with a 54-46 majority) and Speaker John Boehner (Ohio) will lead the House (with a 246-189 majority).
