Airline travel/train travel options:

Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA)

  • 4 miles/15 minute drive from the airport to the hotel.
  • OR metro from the airport to the hotel, it is only 7 minutes away (2 stops).

Dulles International Airport (IAD)

  • 30 miles/40 minutes from the airport to the hotel.

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)

  • 38 miles/50 minutes from the airport to the hotel. 

Amtrak

  • Union Station Washington, DC (WAS) is the closest train station.
  • 2 miles/25-30 minutes from the train station to the hotel.

Metro Rail (Blue & Yellow lines)

  • The nearest metro stop, King Street Station, is only a 1-minute walk from the hotel (344ft).

Expenses 

Expenses covered:

Group Meals listed on the agenda.

  • November 5 – Continental Breakfast, AM Break, Buffet Lunch, PM Break, Reception and Dinner (must register to attend)
  • November 6 – Continental Breakfast, AM Break, Boxed Lunch (must be reserved at registration)

Expenses not covered:

All other expenses to be assumed by participants (i.e. hotel room, travel, parking, transportation, tips, etc.)

Workshop attire

Business casual. Bring a jacket/sweater to wear in the meeting rooms as they may be chilly. 

Policies and procedures

  • This workshop may be audio-taped.
  • Cell phones and other electronic devices must be turned off or placed on “silent” mode before entering a session.
  • Your picture may be taken during this workshop and may be used by the Prevent Cancer Foundation for the purpose of reporting on and promoting the Quantitative Imaging Workshop.
