Ms. Bresch manages the day-to-day operations of the Prevent Cancer Foundation that include development of strategic objectives and partnerships, the implementation of programs and initiatives, and budget development and oversight. Before becoming the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, she previously served as the managing director of development for the Foundation from 2003-2004.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 2003, she served as director of development/public relations with the Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and membership director with WETA TV26/FM91 in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Bresch is an innovative management professional who has combined her more than 25 years of experience and expertise in management, staff motivation, strategic planning, contract negotiations, marketing, fundraising, special events and public relations to advance charitable causes focused on the arts, health care and children and families. She has served as a management and fundraising consultant to start-up non-profits and has worked with America Online (AOL).
Ms. Bresch also provides pro-bono consultation to various local charities serving children and families, while serving on the board and committees of organizations including Special Love, Inc. (current board member), Really Awesome Times, Inc. (board member), America’s Charities Health First (past board member).
