Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Bresch is a seasoned, innovative manager and relationship professional with more than 25-years of experience in non-profit management, relationship building, strategic planning and partnerships, and innovation. A motivated and charismatic individual, she thrives in proactive work environments, and is focused on creating meaningful partnerships and programs that support the organization’s mission, vision, values and goals.
As the Foundation’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Prevent Cancer Foundation, which includes development of strategic objectives and partnerships, the implementation of programs and initiatives, budget development and oversight, and spokesperson. Before assuming this position, she served as the managing director of development for the Foundation from 2003-2004.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Bresch served as director of development and public relations from 1996-2003 at The Children’s Inn, a place like home for children and families under treatment at the National Institutes of Health, and she was part of the fundraising team of WETA TV26/FM91 in Washington, D.C. for 15 years, last serving as the membership director.
Over the past 25 years, Mrs. Bresch has used her vast experience and expertise in management, strategic planning, contract negotiations, marketing, fundraising, special events and public relations to advance charitable causes focused on the arts, health care, and children and families.
She provides pro-bono consultation to various charities serving children and families, while serving on the board and committees of organizations including Special Love, Inc. (current board member), Really Awesome Times, Inc. and America’s Charities Health First.
She has served as a management and fundraising consultant to start-up non-profits, and worked with America Online (AOL). Ms. Bresch is currently the Chair of the National Don’t Fry Day Campaign of the National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention.
