Scott McIntyre, PwC’s Global and U.S. Public Sector Leader, Takes His Company to the Top
(Alexandria, VA) – The Prevent Cancer Foundation is honored to recognize the Chairman of our Board of Directors, Scott McIntyre, and his Global and U.S. Public Sector team at PwC for receiving the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. This award, which was established by Congress, recognizes PwC’s Public Sector Practice for performance excellence through innovation, improvement and visionary leadership.

While leading the Foundation, Scott has simultaneously led his team at PwC to achieve 100 percent customer satisfaction. About the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award
The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award was established in 1987 and is not given for specific products or services. Since the first group was recognized in 1988, 105 awards have been presented to 99 organizations (including six repeat winners). The Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, managed by the Commerce Department’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in cooperation with the private sector, raises awareness about the importance of performance excellence in driving the U.S. and global economy; provides organizational assessment tools and criteria; educates leaders in businesses, schools, health care organizations, and government and nonprofit organizations about the practices of national role models; and recognizes those role models with the Baldrige Award.
