The Prevent Cancer Foundation Annual Spring Gala is a widely attended event that attracts more than 900 guests from the business, diplomatic, government, medical, sports, media and social communities. The gala is held every year at the National Building Museum and recognized as one of “Washington’s Top 100 Events” by BizBash (# 7 in 2010 “Benefits Category), most recently raising over $1.2 million in March 2011 to support Foundation’s research, community outreach and education programs.
Every year, after careful consideration, the Foundation selects a country to celebrate as our Honored Patron. The countries are represented by their respective Ambassadors to the United States. We are pleased to announce the Honored Patrons of the 2012 Prevent Cancer Foundation Annual Spring Gala are His Excellency, the Ambassador of Switzerland Manuel Sager and Mrs. Christine Sager.

Faraz Behvandi and Pasha Daryabeigi of BetaRaz Entertainment, along with UpScale BLVD, are hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser “Pink Party” at Velocity 5 Restaurant in Lansdowne, VA. There will be live music from 10 pm – 2 am, music by DJ Rob (Mista DMV). They will be raffling off a trip for two to Las Vegas for 3 days and 2 nights, and 50% off airfare – raffle tickets are $10 each. Proper attire is required. $10 cover at the door, must be 21 to enter with valid ID. 10% of all proceeds will benefit the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
