The Speed Demos Archive “Awesome Games Done Quick” Marathon Fundraiser is back! This round-the clock 120-hour gaming marathon will be held in Chevy Chase, MD and streamed live online so people around the world can participate.
Speed Demos Archive (SDA) is a Web site for speed gaming, where gamers from across the country and all over the world compete to finish video games as fast as possible. In January 2011, gamers from 28 countries around the world participated in this round-the-clock marathon that was streamed live online. Through the generosity of over 3,700 donors and an average gift of $16, SDA supporters ended up raising over $53,000 for cancer prevention and early detection.
