Watch a Walk Through the Prevent Cancer SuperColon™!

Foundation Message of the Importance of Early Detection Reaches National Audience

Doctors Show logoThe Prevent Cancer SuperColon gained national exposure this September as the headliner for The Doctors show, “Is It In Your Genes?” The thought provoking episode highlighted questions we all need to know about our family history, illustrated by one viewer’s worries about a connection between a family predisposition to IBS and colon cancer. Dr. Jeffrey Sherman of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center gave viewers a virtual tour of the SuperColon. The tour included close-ups of the SuperColon interior which showed examples of what doctors look for when doing a colonoscopy. The segment also featured the Foundation’s Executive Vice President, Jan Bresch Mahrer, reminding the television audience that colorectal cancer is Preventable, Treatable, Beatable!

This Segment is licensed by The Doctors and CBS  until Sept. 30, 2010 and cannot be replicated, loaned, assigned, transferred to, licensed by or sold to any other person, firm, corporation or entity.
