The Prevent Cancer Foundation hosts and supports various events and programs designed to get people talking about the positive power of cancer prevention.
These conferences and workshops include Dialogue for Action to Increase Colorectal Cancer Screening, the Lung Cancer Workshop, Project Early Awareness, and the Summit Series on Clinical Trials. Read our most recent American Indian/Alaska Native Dialogue for Action Project Newsletter.
In addition, Prevent Cancer and the Howard University Cancer Center are proud to release the Breast Health Education for Young Women facilitator’s guide and educational DVD that are designed to promote lifelong good breast-health habits for young women, particularly women of color. These materials are designed for nation-wide use in urban school and community group settings.
