Michael V. Girard and the Prevent Cancer Foundation

In Life With and the Passing of My Wife Joan, Michael V. Girard chronicles 42 years of marriage with his beloved wife Joan from their early life in Guyana to their emigration to the United States. Girard details a love story for the ages filled with episodes of tentative courtship, political turmoil and Joan’s 5-year battle and eventual passing from sarcoma, a rare form of soft-tissue cancer.
