Registration Fees and Policies

Registration Fee  
     Early Bird Registration (until February 28, 2017)                         $245.00
     Regular Registration (March 1– April 18, 2017)                          $295.00
     On-site Registration (April 19 – 21, 2017)                                     $350.00

The registration fee is payable by check or credit card (MasterCard, VISA, or American Express). If you are paying by check, click “Register by Check” on the payment method section on the registration form.

     Write Attendee Name and registration number on the check

If you need an invoice sent to your organization for registration payment, contact Lorelei Mitrani at lorelei.mitrani@preventcancer.org. Training Orders or Purchase Orders will not be accepted. 

If you are a speaker, moderator, review committee member, poster presenter or conference supporter, contact Lisa Han at lisa.han@preventcancer.org with questions regarding registration.

Confirmations

Online registration will be confirmed by e-mail at the time of registration.  All mailed or faxed registrations will be confirmed within two weeks of receipt.  If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact lorelei.mitrani@preventcancer.org .

Cancellations and Refunds

If an attendee cancels for any reason, a refund of the registration fee will be given, less $25 for administrative costs until close of business on Monday, March 20, 2017.  After Monday, March 20, 2017, a refund of 50% registration fee will be given.

NOTE:  An attendee who does not cancel by e-mail to lorelei.mitrani@preventcancer.org and does not attend the conference will be considered a “no show” and will not receive a refund for the registration fee.

In the event of an unforeseen circumstance, this event can be cancelled by the Prevent Cancer Foundation and the Foundation is not obligated to refund any expenses that attendees may incur.

Policies and Procedures

  • This conference may be audio-taped.
  • Cell phones and other electronic devices must be turned off or placed on “silent” mode before entering a session.
  • Your picture may be taken during this conference and may be used by the Prevent Cancer Foundation for the purpose of reporting on and promoting the Dialogue for Action®.

Meals listed on the Agenda are Covered Expenses. These include:

  • Wednesday, April 19
    • Meet and Greet Informal Reception with Light hors d’oeuvres.
  • Thursday, April 20
    • Continental Breakfast
    • Morning Break
    • Laurels Awards Luncheon (must register to attend)
    • Afternoon Break
    • Evening Reception featuring food stations and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Friday, April 21
    • Continental Breakfast
    • Morning Break

Expenses Not Covered

  • Wednesday, April 19
    • Breakfast, lunch and dinner are on your own. A cash-bar will be available at the informal reception.
  • Friday, April 21
    • Lunch is on your own

All other expenses to be assumed by participants (hotel room, travel, parking, transportation, tips and alcoholic beverages)

After this date room reservations will be accepted based upon hotel availability only. The Washington, DC area is a popular destination, so make your reservations early!
