Stop what, you ask? Stop cancer! Each year, more than 1.6 million Americans will be diagnosed with cancer and more than 580,000 will die from the disease. Research shows that up to 60 percent of cancer cases and more than 50 percent of cancer deaths are preventable. It’s time to step up and STOP IT!
The Prevent Cancer Foundation is kicking off the giving season with #GivingTuesday, an official call for donations on December 3 following Black Friday and Cyber Monday and we would like you to join!
We have a simple way for you to show your support for our important message of cancer prevention and early detection. Change your Facebook profile picture to our Stop It avatar now through December 3:
1. Right click on the image
2. “Save as” and save image to your desktop or folder
3. Upload to Facebook as your profile picture with the description: preventcancer.org #StopIt #preventcancer #GivingTuesday
