Exercising is important for overall wellness and should be part of a healthy lifestyle that also includes a nutritious diet. Getting the motivation to exercise and to stick with an exercise plan can be a challenge for some because of many popular misconceptions.

Weight loss should not be the primary measurement of physical activity and being active does not balance out with hours spent on the couch.
