We already gave you a few ideas for a healthier Fourth of July, but if you need a little more inspiration, try this easy Red, White & Blue Cheese Dip. Serve it with your favorite veggies for a more nutritious alternative to potato chips and store-bought dip.
Red, White & Blue Cheese Dip
¾ Cup Greek Yogurt
¼ Cup Sour Cream
½ Lemon, Juiced
Hot Sauce, To Taste (1 to 4 Tablespoons)
Salt, To Taste
¼ Cup Red Bell Pepper, Diced
½ Cup Crumbled Blue Cheese
Directions
Whisk yogurt, sour cream and lemon juice until smooth and well-combined. Add hot sauce a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired level of spiciness. Add salt, to taste, and fold in blue cheese and red pepper. Chill until ready to serve with raw vegetables, such as cauliflower, broccoli, peppers, carrots and celery.
