The Prevent Cancer Foundation is excited to announce Pat Keran and Dan Shapiro as the keynote speakers for the 2015 Dialogue for Action conference.

Dan Shapiro, the celebrated speaker and author, will share a cancer survivor’s unique perspective on prevention and early detection as the closing keynote speaker. Dr. Shapiro is Chair of the Department of Humanities at Penn State College of Medicine. As a survivor, he has written about both the patient experience and that of providers in publications such as the New York Times and Academic Medicine and in three award-winning books. Dr. Shapiro has inspired audiences at dozens of functions where his talks have been described as laugh out loud funny and incredibly moving.
