Managing Director of Development
The Prevent Cancer Foundation, a national, non-profit health foundation is seeking a Managing Director of Development, with a minimum of 7-10 years of development experience; including major gifts, planned giving, special events, direct mail and staff management. Must have excellent fundraising track record, communication and interpersonal skills, and be willing to travel. Salary commensurate with experience. Communications and Marketing Intern
Seeking a Communications Intern to work on a part-time basis for spring 2009. Approximately 15-20 hours a week (or more, if desired). Desired skills include: strong sense of organization, Microsoft Office, Internet research, writing skills and the ability to proceed with a project without excess guidance.
Qualifications: Be a degree-seeking student in communications, marketing, public relations, mass media or a similar field.
Paid Internship Info: Unpaid, Reimbursement for transportation
Hours/Length: 15-20 hours a week for Summer 2009 semester
Start/End Date: Dates are negotiable
