Noche Peruana Benefits Prevent Cancer Foundation With Celebrity Chef Cooking

ALEXANDRIA, VA — This Saturday, Macchu Pisco teams up with DC Peruvian restaurant Noche Peruana to host celebrity chef Guillermo Gonzales-Arica to benefit the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Chef Gonzales-Arica will be assisted by local celebrity and Foundation board member Dr. Elmer Huerta and renowned Peruvian artist Miki Fernández. During the evening, diners will be encouraged to support the Foundation through donation envelopes. The event is sponsored by the Embassy of Peru, The Counsel General of Peru, The Peruvian Mission at OAS and Mio Restaurant.

“We are honored to have Mio Restaurant and Dr. Huerta help celebrate and help out the Foundation,” explains Linda Chastain, Director of Special Events for the Foundation.

The $40 prix fixed dinner does not include a donation to the Foundation, but diners can make donations throughout the evening. The Foundation’s popular Guide to Preventable Cancers in English and Spanish will be available to guests. To make reservations for the event, please call (202) 955-0075.
